Upon printing his first stickers at the tender age of 8, Serge Nidegger immediately knew he would make it his life. After learning the tricks of the trade the regular way, he becomes aware that the only way to keep on printing with passion is to launch his own company, Lowrider. Serge claims to belong to a tradition that goes back to the 60' printers, and prefers to develop this old school technique rather than to go completely digital. To pull off the trickiest prints he would rather resort to masking film and his swivel knife skills than manipulate vectors with his computer mouse. This experimentation can also be found through Serge's numerous collaborations with designers, film-makers, rock clubs, art galleries and festivals. He seizes such opportunities to try to push the envelope further. Screen-prints last forever, so let's make' em beautiful.
