Who doesn�t remember Space Invaders, one of the first video games? At the commands of a spaceship, the idea was to defend the Earth against squadrons of invaders from space.
Guillaume Reymond, winner of the BBI 2006 Creation Contest, presents an animated film where actual participants make up the classic images of Space Invaders. About 70 people are seated in the tiers of a theater. Their specific placement mimics the pixels of the game. After each picture, the people-pixels move or not, from one seat to the next. The outcome: the group of volunteers who make up the spaceship defender of the Earth shoots people onto the extraterrestrial armada, also made up of volunteers, who in return projects people back at the spaceship.
