Avin, the separate cultural space the BBI is using during its festival, was originally a McDonnell Douglas type DC-9-32. Its tank holds 13,925 liters that enables it to fly 2,631 kilometers. At capacity, the plane burns 5 liters of kerosene per 100 kilometers per passenger. Give Me Wings, smart and stinging, is configured by Denis Bigler of Fribourg and partially leans on technical data to ask questions pertaining to our ecological, biological and social future.
Give Me Wings is a production of the BBI, carried out thanks to a contribution of the Canton Fribourg to the culture.
